It’s an amazing feeling when beginning a fantasy series to know that all the books are already out. The Malazan Book of the Fallen series by Steven Erikson might not be the first series you would think of when considering similar fantasy books to The Kingkiller Chronicle, but stick with me here. Kvothe’s university is a “wizarding school” done better than most.
